As we start the year, it’s a good time to forgive the past - to be able to go into the new year fully present.
Forgiveness involves letting go of judgement of the self, and of others.
We often find it easier to forgive others than ourselves, and a lack of self-forgiveness gets stuck in our heart chakra. It also affects the lower chakras, thereby immobilizing our energy body as we remain filled with anger and unforgiveness that can harden into resentment and bitterness.
This guided meditation offers us the opportunity to clear out issues from our past, thereby freeing us up for our future journey, liberated from the constraints of self-debilitating unforgiveness.
"Cultivating Forgiveness" - Guided Meditation from Jolé Gabrielle:
Empowering Forgiveness Process
(Based on Marianne Williamson’s interpretation of the forgiveness process detailed in A Course in Miracles, and excerpted from Inner Yoga: 23 Simple Self-Care Tools for Peace, Healing & Authentic Empowerment by Laurie Lamson)
Forgiveness can be next to impossible when we feel disappointed, abandoned, betrayed, shamed, or violated.
Unwillingness to forgive keeps our attention, and our energy, stuck in the past, unable to create our future. It’s said that hanging on to resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
The Maori healers of New Zealand recommend self-forgiveness as one of the crucial keys to healing of any kind, and I agree.
Start with a mantra from Deepak Chopra:
“Forgiveness is for me. Forgiveness sets me free.”
For deep forgiveness work, try these steps, in any order, and repeat often. KEEP READING

⚡️ Forward Motion for Creatives ⚡️
We both have a passion for empowering creativity.
Laurie recently design a one-on-one program for a talented friend to help her stay on track with her writing, while overcoming internal blocks and self-doubts getting in the way of her progress.
The program combines creative coaching, story consulting (for writers), goalsetting, encouraging reminders, guided meditation, and Soul Medicine to help heal you and your inner artist.
Laurie can offer this three-month program to a few more creatives, so if this sounds like a good way to start the year, book a free Spark Session to learn more and discuss a customized plan.
